        ¢ In order that each student may enjoy the full benefit of the facilities placed at his/her disposal, he/she will abide by the rules and regulations made and amended by the Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training/Saraswati Polytechnic College, Balluana (Bathinda) for the course including attendance, examination, internal assessment, discipline, dress-code, labs/workshops, library, transport, hostel, vehicle, parking etc.

        ¢ The student will pay all the fees and dues as per schedule notified by the Principal from time to time.

        ¢ The student will be expected to behave with decorum and to pay respect to faculty and subordinate staff. Every member of the staff has authority to forbid disorderly behaviour either within or outside the Institution and at all times and has to be immediately obeyed in such circumstances. No student has authority over the employees of the institution

        ¢ The student will carry identity card at all times at campus/outside and will produce the identity card on demand when asked for. Loss of the identity card must be reported immediately. Failure to inform about the loss of the card will be taken serious notice of. A new card will be issued on payment

        ¢ The student will not indulge in any act of indiscipline, including use of abusive language, misbehaviour, disobedience or physical violence or any activity that is against the rules and regulations.

        ¢ The student will observe all safety precautions. The institution is not responsible for accident of whatever nature in the Institution, Hostel, workshop or laboratories.

        ¢ Attendance norms are strictly adhered to. Late arrival and early departure at or from a class are recorded as absence from the class for period concerned.

        ¢ Loud talking, loitering or congregating in the corridor being a source of disturbance and annoyance to others is not permitted

        ¢ Attention and diligence is required on the part of students. A student neglecting his/her studies, missing classes and showing unsatisfactory progress will be given two warnings after which if he/she fails to improve he/she will be liable for expulsion from the Institution.

        ¢ Conduct inconsistent with general good order, or persistent neglect of study/work or failure to respond promptly to official notices, may be punished with heavy fines and even expulsion from the institution by the Principal

        ¢ Ragging is a criminal offence and is strictly prohibited. He/she will not indulge directly or indirectly in any act of ragging on the campus, in hostel or outside the campus of the college. If indulged in ragging, the Principal may take appropriate disciplinary action and rusticate such student(s) and take further legal action as per law of land.

        ¢ The student will be liable to pay for any damages and Penalty caused by him/her to the college property jointly or individually.

        ¢ He/she will not possess, use or deal in any kind of intoxicating material including alcohol, drugs of any kind, gutka, tobacco, cigarettes or any other type of sedative material or anything, which are barred by law, i.e., drinking, smoking and use of other intoxicants are strictly prohibited in the Institution. Violation will invite strict disciplinary action and even rustication.

        ¢ Use of Mobile phone is strictly prohibited in the college campus. Violator will be warned once and thence onward will be fined Rs.100/-at each violation. Repeated violation may invite strict action and even expulsion from the college by the Principal.

        ¢ No institute society shall be formed without the permission of the Principal.

        ¢ In all matters concerning the institution administration and regulations, the decision of the Principal/Management is final.

        ¢ Complaints/suggestions for improvement be put in Suggestion Box.
